Nina Zabalza, FNP of Hello You: Care That Starts With the Person

For Nina Zabalza, FNP, the through line across every setting she's practiced in is the same: the person in front of her comes first.

That conviction was built in some demanding rooms. Before founding Hello You Aesthetics + Wellness in Gilbert, Arizona, Nina worked as an emergency room nurse in a level 1 trauma center, then practiced as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) across urgent care, walk-in clinics, and primary care. Nearly a decade into her work as an FNP, that foundation still shapes how her team approaches each patient.

"I think the reason why we're so successful is because we remember that first and foremost our patient is who we're providing services to." — Nina Zabalza, FNP

Nina Zabalza, FNP, founder of Hello You Aesthetics + Wellness, shares how a background in emergency and primary care shaped her practice, and why the right pharmacy partnership matters to her team.

Who Is Nina Zabalza, FNP, of Hello You Aesthetics + Wellness?

Nina Zabalza is a family nurse practitioner and the owner of Hello You Aesthetics + Wellness in Gilbert, Arizona.

She has practiced as an FNP for nine years, following work as an ER nurse in a level 1 trauma center. Her clinical background spans urgent care, walk-in clinics, and primary care. She has worked in aesthetics since 2018 and has served as a medical director for multiple practices offering medical-grade aesthetic care.

During COVID, Nina handled daily medical check-ins for COVID-positive patients experiencing homelessness. She stepped into that role because she felt her own circumstances made her the right person to care for those patients while protecting the wider community.

It's a decision that says a lot about the practice she went on to build.

Hello You's Approach to Aesthetics and Wellness

Hello You brings together two sides of care that don't always sit under one roof: aesthetic services like injectables, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation, and medical-grade facials, alongside wellness care that includes hormone support, blood panels, and wellness visits.

The connecting idea is the whole person. Aesthetic goals and long-term health aren't treated as separate conversations, and care is designed around what an individual patient is actually working toward.

The practice today serves patients across 21 states.

Inside Hello You's Nurse Practitioner-Led Model

Hello You is made up of family nurse practitioners who are licensed to diagnose, prescribe, and manage personalized care.

For Nina, that structure isn't a technicality. It means the clinician performing a service is also the clinician who can assess what a patient may uniquely need and adjust accordingly, with clinical judgment applied in the room rather than handed off.

That depth of training is part of what allows the team to look at a patient's goals in the context of their broader health.

Why Hello You Partners With Strive Pharmacy

When a patient's care involves a compounded medication, the pharmacy becomes part of the practice's experience, too. For Nina, the relationship matters as much as the logistics.

"It's been really great that we have this personal relationship with not only the pharmacist, but with all of their support staff, their shipping department, and with their owners." — Nina Zabalza, FNP

At Strive, every clinic works with an account team that knows their practice, their patients, and their goals.

She also points to how quickly her patients are able to get their medications in hand, and to the flexibility that compounding allows. Because a compounded medication can be prepared in a vial, providers have room to tailor dosing to the individual patient in front of them.

That's the heart of what compounding is designed to do: give prescribers a way to shape a medication around one patient's needs, under a valid prescription, rather than around an average.

Good Care, Passed Along

Hello You has grown almost entirely by word of mouth.

"I tell patients all the time if you do good by people, they'll send you good people. And I've been really lucky as that's worked for us." — Nina Zabalza, FNP

For a practice built on knowing patients well, that's a fitting way to grow. Patients who feel genuinely cared for tend to bring the people they care about.
