Minoxidil works as a vasodilator, enhancing blood flow and nutrient supply to the hair follicles. It reduces the length of the resting (telogen) phase, encouraging follicles to transition more quickly into the growth (anagen) phase, and extends the duration of that growth phase.¹

Spironolactone works by directly blocking androgen receptors and competitively inhibiting the binding of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and other androgens. By preventing DHT from activating these receptors, it reduces sebum production and helps prevent hair follicle miniaturization, key factors in managing androgen-dependent conditions like female pattern hair loss.²

Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is essential for healthy hair growth, particularly in individuals who are deficient in this nutrient. Biotin deficiency may lead to hair thinning and hair loss. Supplementing with biotin supports the production of keratin, which is the structural protein that forms hair, skin, and nails. In people with biotin deficiency, supplementation may help strengthen the hair shaft.³
