Enclomiphene is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator, which antagonizes the effect of estrogen in the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis in males to increase testosterone. It is the active isomer of clomiphene responsible for its desirable pharmacological effects while minimizing estrogenic side effects.

HOW TO USE
Usual dose
Take 1 tablet by mouth one time daily. Your provider may recommend cycling 5 days on and 2 days off, or taking every other day.

Potential Benefits

Increase endogenous systemic and intratesticular testosterone in hypogonadal men. Testosterone may support improved muscle mass and strength, libido, energy level and mood and cognition.

Associated with fewer estrogen-related side effects, such as mood changes, gynecomastia, and fluid retention, compared to clomiphene.

How It Works

Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It is an isomer of clomiphene primarily responsible for desired pharmacological effects, whereas zuclomiphene is the isomer responsible for side effects. Enclomiphene antagonizes estrogen in the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis to induce Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). LH stimulates the Leydig cells to produce testosterone. The resulting high intratesticular testosterone supports spermatogeneis. FSH works synergistically with LH, acting on the Sertoli cells of the testes and play a role in spermatogenesis, sperm maturation, and sperm quality.
