• This product is derived from a porcine source, desiccated pig thyroid, so please be aware of any dietary, religious, or cultural restrictions that may occur in patients.
• Should not be used for weight loss. In euthyroid patients, thyroid supplementation within the range of daily hormonal requirements are ineffective for weight reduction. High doses may produce serious or even life-threatening conditions.
• Hypersensitivity to thyroid hormone has not been known to occur, however allergic reactions may occur in individuals with an intolerance to animal proteins or excipients.

Nature Throid is a naturally derived thyroid hormone replacement containing levothyroxine (T₄) and liothyronine (T₃). T₄ acts as a prohormone, converted to active T₃ in the liver and other tissues. Thyroid hormones primarily increases metabolic rate, oxygen consumption, body temperature, cardiac output, and the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, while supporting growth and tissue maturation.
