Olympus Peak contains a combination of three medications designed to support erection quality, energy levels and libido. This compounded formulation may also support management of concerns related to premature ejaculation and help address performance anxiety.

Olympus Peak combines oxytocin, bremelanotide, and tadalafil to support sexual wellness in men. Oxytocin is a natural hormone that plays a role in bonding, intimacy, and sexual arousal. When taken it can help activate areas of the brain linked to attraction and sexual interest. This may support the feelings of connection and the body's response during sexual activity. Bremelanotide works mainly in the brain. It activates melanocortin 4 receptor (MC4R) that help promote sexual desire and arousal. By activating these receptors, it may help patients reach sexual excitement and support their overall experience. Tadalafil works in a different way. It helps relax blood vessels and supports blood flow to the penis. Supported blood flow helps with getting and keeping an erection during sexual stimulation. Together, these ingredients work on both the brain and blood flow to help support a healthy sexual response.1-7

Q: How long does it take to see a response?
A: Typical onset has been observed within 30 minutes after taking. If no effect is seen, you may need to increase your dose up to a max of 1 full tablet per 24 hours as recommended by your prescriber.
Q: Can I use this with other medications?
A: It may be used with other medications, but it should not be used with Nitroglycerin or other blood pressure lowering agents as it may cause a severe decrease in blood pressure. Always consult your prescribing healthcare provider before combining with other medications.
Q: What if I miss a dose?
A: This medication is designed to be used as needed 30 minutes prior to sexual activity. There is no need to take it as a daily dosing unless directed by your prescriber.
Q: Why cant patients take Olympus Peak with Nitrates?
A: The use of Tadalafil (PDE5i) with nitrates is contraindicated due to the risk of hypotension. Current prescribing information for tadalafil state at least 48 hours must elapse after tadalafil administration and use of an organic nitrate.12 Nitrates relax smooth muscle causing vasodilation by stimulating cGMP production. PDE5i cause vasodilation by inhibiting an enzyme responsible for the metabolism of cGMP. The synergistic effect on cGMP is believed to be responsible for the effects on blood pressure.
Q: Why does bremelanotide cause hyperpigmentation in patients using it for sexual dysfunction?
A: Bremelanotide activates melanocortin receptors that are located in the brain and melanocytes located in the skin. The activation of melanocytes in the skin will increase melanin production and cause darkened patches of skin or gums in some patients. This hyperpigmentation is typically seen on the face, and gums the risk is higher in people with darker skin tones. In some cases, the discoloration may not fully resolve after stopping the medication, so patients are advised to stay within labeled dosing limits and to contact their clinician if they notice new or worsening dark spots while using bremelanotide.13
